The other day I had the sudden urge to do a matte manicure. I settled on Blue Suede from Orly’s Fall 2009 Matte Couture Collection. For some reason I never got around to trying it. I had a fairly good experience with Purple Velvet from the same collection so my expectations were rather high for Blue Suede.
Blue Suede is what I wanted Russian Navy Matte to be; a gorgeous navy with a tad bit of shimmer in it. The shimmer is really what makes this polish. It’s less matte and more…suede!
As with all matte polishes the wear isn’t great but this polish is worth it for me to wear for a day or so. Despite the fact this is from Orly’s Fall 2009 collection it is still for sale on their website. Maybe it’s being added to the permanent collection…
