NCLA Sugar Fix

NCLA Sugar Rush Sweet RevengeI’ve fallen hard for NCLA. The first polish I tried was AM: Beauty Sleep, PM: Shopping Spree and I absolutely loved it. I fell even harder when I tried their nail wraps. So when I saw they had a new collection out for summer, Sweet Revenge, I really wanted to try another polish.

Sugar Rush arrived in my mailbox in NCLA’s signature magenta bubble mailer with a Revenge is Sweet sticker on the outside. On the inside not only did I find the polish I ordered (which looked gorgeous in the bottle) but a lollipop! Day totally made. While none of that has anything to do with the actual polish I appreciate companies that have a personality.

As it turns out, I quite like the nail polish as well. Sugar Rush contains large blue and magenta glitter along with small purple glitter suspended in a dark gray jelly base. It’s a similar concept to Lex Cosmetics Dying Embers but a completely different color combination.

I used three coats in my swatches and while I like Sugar Rush on its own it also looks great as an accent nail. Below the jump there are swatches of Sugar Rush plus a couple swatches of when I used Sugar Rush as an accent nail over Nina Ultra Pro Never Glum Plum.

  1. It looks great! I have only tried one polish from NCLA yet but that was amazing both in formula and color.

  2. The name is Sugar Fix, just thought I would let you know the title is an error. Pretty nails 🙂
