I have to say. I love the name of this polish. It cracks me up every time! When I’m wearing it I just wait for someone to ask me what polish I’m wearing so I can tell them You Drive Me Coconuts.
Anyway! You Drive Me Coconuts is from the Summer 2013 SUNSATIONAL collection. The collection is split so there are 6 cremes and 6 jellies. Too Yacht To Handle is a creme from this collection and I loved it so I was looking forward to trying a jelly.
You Drive Me Coconuts is a super bright pink jelly with purple undertones. Perfect color for summer!
The formula was great. Because it’s a jelly I used three coats in my swatches. I was happy with the level of opacity. I didn’t see any reason to layer this over a white polish.
Because, clearly, a bright neon manicure wasn’t crazy enough, I added Lex Cosmetics Acroiris as an accent nail. There are swatches below the jump of that along with additional swatches of You Drive Me Coconuts!
