Election 2012: Rock The Vote Nail Art

While the DNC was in town I attended a Rock the Vote event. Sure there was music, and food, and DNC themed cocktails but everyone was there for the same reason; to get young people registered to vote. Voter registration deadlines are quickly approaching around the country with North Carolina’s deadline being Friday. So if you’re still not registered, what are you waiting for! Anyway, on to the point of this post. I’ve done both Obama and Romney themed nail art but as the election draws closer I wanted to do some more general, nonpartisan nails. I figured voting was something we could all agree on!

The polishes I used for this look include Ulta Snow White and L’Oreal Jet Set to Paris. To write “VOTE” and draw the box I used a red striper and for the check mark I used a silver striper. Overall, a very simple nail art design, but effective none the less!

Anyway, as always there are more swatches below the jump! And make sure to Rock the Vote this November 🙂

  1. I love your blog and I love this post. I’m also in NC. I am all about rocking the vote. It doesn’t matter who people vote for they just need to exercise their right to vote!
