Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color – Electric Emerald (+ #GetMagnetic)

Since Sally Hansen is running their #GetMagnetic Contest, I thought I’d review one of their Magnetic polishes for you today! It’s a grey and rainy day here in Virginia so I picked Electric Emerald to spice up my day. It’s a very pretty hunter green.

I’m a big fan of magnetic polishes, I think they are the simplest way to jazz up your nails. Application is super easy: Apply a base coat of your choice, paint all 10 nails with one coat and let dry. Next apply one thick coat to one nail and hold the magnet (conveniently right on the cap!)  over top of your nail for 10 seconds and repeat this with each nail one by one. The Sally Hansen website has directions and a quick video tutorial if you’re interested!

I’ve only used the China Glaze Magnetix (Swatch & Review: Pull Me Close) before and found the Sally Hansen to be right on par with China Glaze as far as ease of application goes. The one thing that China Glaze has on Sally Hansen is their magnet has several design options.
