Neptune… the Roman God of the Seas and my new favorite blue polish. I haven’t really been interested in this shade of blue for years – I even gave Alli my bottle of Dating a Royal – I’ve just been far more interested in much darker or much lighter blues – but I grabbed it anyway and as soon as I put it on my nails I fell in love. It’s beautiful – really. It’s the kind of polish I’d expect from high end brands. Neptune is a stunning royal blue loaded with silver shimmer/microglitter.
Application was fine for me, I used 3 coats. The first coat went on quite sheer – so sheer that I assumed I’d have to use 4 coats at least… but no -it builds up quite quickly once you put the 2nd coat on. I’ve read that some people found the formula to be a bit thick – but I didn’t notice that at all.
If you’re looking to shake up your polish collection (or even if you’re stash is overflowing) this is a must have – and a great deal for .99 at Walgreen’s this week (regularly .99). This would be a great choice as a fun & flirty 5th color in Alli’s 5 Polishes Every Girl Should Own.

oh my goodness I love that! i saw the bottle of it the other day but was leery to buy it because I thought it would be ugly on the nails, but it’s so pretty. I have found that my other sinful colors (luminary, mint apple) which have the silver shimmer to them go on sheer the first coat then builds up really well.
Isn’t it gorgeous? Ahhh! I still need to review Luminary – it’s so so pretty!
Such a pretty blue. I don’t have a Walgreens anywhere near me so unfortunately I haven’t been able to pick up a bottle. Love it!
How about a Rite Aid? They usually have the Sinful Displays too!
My Rite Aid does get a lot of the collections, but for some reason I never saw this one. Probably because it’s the collection that I really wanted. Lol.
Ugh – it always works out that way, eh? I think I grabbed the last one at that store but if I see it I’ll pick it up for you 🙂

I have this polish too and you’re right…it’s AWESOME. And I totally agree with your statement that it’s something you’d expect from a high-end brand. Thanks for letting us know about the sale…guess who’s going to Walgreen’s later this week…
LOVE, LOVE this shade…and we don’t get the Sinful collections in my little town’s drugstore very often. I think the shades we have had been there on the regular 2 tier stand for Sinful since last fall!
