OPI How’s it Snowin’?

I always get super excited about Ulta’s holiday OPI exclusives. Last year’s Holi-Daze mini set was so cute, and had some fabulous polishes in it, so I had high expectations for this year’s set. When I first saw this year’s set; Deck Your Nails, I was a bit disappointed. Out of the 3 polishes, 2 are red, 2 are glitters and the only one that really excited me was How’s it Snowin’?. Of course, if I’ve learned anything from being a complete polishaholic it is that you can never judge a polish until it’s on your nails!

How’s it Snowin’? is chunky silver glitter mixed with smaller silver and charcoal grey glitter suspended in a clear base. This polish is just so pretty! I love it.

Application presented the normal troubles with glitter. The formula is a bit thick but not unmanageable. I used two to three coats and as expected, this chipped fairly quickly. If this is a polish you’re really loving, I would recommend not getting the mini bottle. I should have learned my lesson last year with OPI Gift Of Gold. Glitter and mini bottles do not mix!

One of the reasons I was drawn to How’s it Snowin’? was because it reminded me of the only polish from China Glaze’s Let it Snow collection I had any interest in; Tinsel Town. As far as I can tell this is a dupe for Tinsel Town.
