China Glaze Concrete Catwalk (plus a comparison to Essie Power Clutch)

My love for China Glaze’s Fall 2011 Metro Chic collection continues! While Skyscraper is still the obvious winner from this collection, Concrete Catwalk is also fabulous.

Concrete Catwalk is a blue based gray creme that is surprisingly flattering on the nails. Grays can sometimes be difficult to pull off, but that is not the case with this polish.

The formula is fantastic; not thick but very opaque. I only used two coats.

As I was wearing this I began to think this looked somewhat similar to Essie Power Clutch. While they are both dark gray cremes they are not dupes. Concrete Catwalk is much more blue based whereas Essie Power Clutch is more of a true gray. Concrete Catwalk has a better formula, but Essie Power Clutch wears better. No, these two polishes are not dupes, but they are close enough that I cannot see much of a reason to own both. Either will work fabulously for the gray Fall nail trend. Make sure to check below the jump for a comparison.
