Milani One of a Kind

Milani One of a KindI’ve never had a ton of luck with Milani nail polishes. For the most part I find them to be overpriced and they under perform. But, for some unknown reason, when I saw One of a Kind I just had to pick it up! I think I still have in my head that dark green polish is in for Spring.

One of a Kind is a dark, almost black, forest green creme. Under most lighting it looks black, but in bright light it does appear to be green. The formula isn’t great, but it’s not bad either. It’s a bit on the thin side, so I did need three coats, and in the picture it is easy to see I still had some bald spots (though they are MUCH less noticeable in person).

The wear from this polish was rather impressive. Usually I can only wear dark polishes for a day then the tip wear drives me crazy, but I wore this for several days with no chips or significant tip wear.

I do have a few similar polishes in my collection. NYC Flat Iron Green is a slightly different shade of green, Orly Enchanted Forest is a bit lighter, and OPI Here Today Aragon Tomorrow is almost the exact same color with shimmer.

Overall I do like this polish, but the name One of a Kind is a tad misleading 🙂
