Barielle Tight Knit

Barielle Tight KnitI was taking a stroll through Ulta the other day and spotted the Barielle Style in Argyle display. I’d never seen Barielle at Ulta before, so, of course, I had to pick up at least one polish to give the brand a try. In general this collection did not jump out at me. Alot of colors that wouldn’t flatter my skintone at all, but I finally decided to try Tight Knit.

Tight Knit is a rich brown-purple creme. Honestly in the bottle it looks kind of ugly. But I love the way it looks on the nail. It’s a very flattering color for cool skintones.

Application was amazing! One coat was almost enough, but I did use two coats. I was very impressed with the wear from this polish. Keep in mind this is my first Barielle polish, but I didn’t even have any tip wear after the first 24 hours (and certainly no chips). I used my regular base and top coats.

I’m hoping maybe Ulta starts carrying this line more often. This polish was $6 and I’m very impressed so far. I’d love to get my hands on some more Barielle colors!
