OPI – Mrs. O’Leary’s BBQ

This nail polish reminds me why I love nail polish. It’s a deep vampy brownish red – looking at my nails right now it really is the color of BBQ sauce -darker than my pictures show (note: this is referring to the original swatch –  you can see it below the jump). Actually it reminds me a lot of Essie’s Wicked.  Maybe I’ll compare the two… The application was fantastic – only needed two coats. I love this nail polish – I’ve worn it probably 8 times since I bought it (I never do that) – I just hadn’t gotten to take a picture til today.  Originally a part of the Chicago collection in 2005, this is now – clearly – a part of the OPI permanent collection.

Updated 5/21/12: New Swatch! I still adore this polish as much as I did 2 years ago! It’s perfect – though not a typical spring polish, I’m loving it on my nails right now. If you’d like to see the old swatch I’m putting that under the jump, don’t judge. This is much more color accurate than my first swatch. I love my lightbox. While I haven’t posted about it, I followed Alli’s Lightbox DIY and it worked just perfectly.

Ick!
